Picky eater

I saw another post here about dachshunds liking carrots which prompted this post. My mini doxie refuses to eat anything that is not meat (even dog cookies - like he’ll not eat the ones that do not have meat in them). He does not eat any vegetables, fruits, even peanut butter. He’s also a picky eater - he got a very small kibble sized treat from the pet store the other day and he literally spit half of it out after eating half of that. The store people couldn’t believe it.

Is this normal? Should I be worried? I’ve talking about this with my fellow dog owning neighbors and dog trainers, the consensus is either he’s just picky or I made him picky (that boy has at least over 40 different kinds of treats at home and I’m not exaggerating).

Thank you in advance!!!
